2014 Summer School for Cognitive Neuroscience (Taipei)

Introduction:

2014 Summer School for Cognitive Neuroscience will be held in Taipei on September 9-13, 2014 at the National Central University. The objective of the Summer School is to bring together students from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Mainland, in order to promote and advance the development of cognitive neuroscience research. This year Summer School will have mini-symposiums, experiments, film appreciation, discussion, debate as well as group reports and presentations. Participants will also have the opportunities to explore the latest technologies, such as electroencephalography (EEG), magnetoencephalography (MEG), eye-tracker, motion capture, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), transcranial direct-current stimulation (tDCS) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). Courses will be conducted in English and Mandarin.

Deadline for application: 15 June 2014

Fee: Succeeded applicants should buy a round-trip ticket on their own budget. (Free accommodation and meals will be provided by the Summer School for Mainland and Hong Kong students)

Prospective Mainland and Hong Kong students should send 1) a full CV, 2) a statement of interest in this Summer School, and 3) a reference letter to archerho@cuhk.edu.hk by 15 June 2014. We thank all applicants; however, only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.

If you have not been contacted within 4 weeks of the closing date you should assume that your application has been unsuccessful.
